Isaiah Burse's 28-yard reception on the first Bulldog offensive play of the game was the 100th catch of his career.
It only took Fresno State two plays to score, as Carr connected on a 64-yard touchdown pass on the second play of the game. The TD pass to Davante Adams was Carr's fourth TD pass this year of over 60 yards.
Adams now has a touchdown catch in seven-straight games, which ties for the second-most in school history.
Those two passes pushed Carr over 7,000 yards passing in his career. He becomes the sixth Fresno State quarterback to do so.
Phillip Thomas, on his fourth sack of the season, forced his fourth fumble of the year. Shawn Plummer recovered to give the Bulldogs the ball on the Air Force 35-yard line at 9:58. It was Fresno State's 31st take-away of the season.
Derek Carr hit Isaiah Burse on a 36-yard touchdown pass at 9:15. It was Burse's sixth touchdown reception of the season and Carr's 34th TD.
Robbie Rouse threw his first touchdown pass of his career at 4:21, a one-yarder to Marcel Jensen.
Derek Carr was 6-for-6 passing in the first quarter for 145 yards and the two touchdowns. His six completions gave him 100-straight without an interception.
With 21 points in the first quarter, Fresno State has scored 21 or more in 4-of-6 home games this year. The 'Dogs finish the regular season averaging 19.8 first-quarter points at home.
Burse's fifth reception of the game, a 53-yard catch at 12:41, put him at 126 yards receiving. It is his third career 100-yard receiving game.
Quentin Breshears hit a 26-yard field goal at 11:00 to give the Bulldogs a 24-7 lead. It was his 10th made field goal of the season.
Carr started the game completing his first nine passes for 215 yards. Included in those first nine passes were completions of 28, 64, 36 and 53 yards.
Carr his Marcel Jensen on a one-yard touchdown pass at 3:49. It was Carr's third TD of the season and the seventh game this year he has thrown three or more touchdowns. For Jensen, this marks his first career two-touchdown game. He only had three touchdown catches entering the game.
The Bulldogs outgained Air Force 326-154 in the first half and held a 31-7 lead.

Carr's 38-yard pass to Justin Johnson pushed him over 300 yards passing in the game. It is his ninth career 300-yard game and fifth this season. He ties Kevin Sweeney for the third-most 300-yard passing games in school history.
Sean Alston picked off a pass at 10:21, giving the Bulldogs a pick in 10-straight games and 20 total interceptions for the season.
Davante Adams' seven-yard catch at 10:02 pushed him over 100 yards receiving in the game. It is his fifth 100-yard receiving game this year, which ties for the fifth-most in Fresno State single-season history.
Greg Watson scored his second rushing touchdown of the season at 7:40 to give Fresno State a 38-7 lead.
Sean Alston's sack and forced fumble gat 3:51 gave Fresno State its third take-away of the game.
