FRESNO, Calif. - Five former Fresno State football players have been invited to play in several different postseason all-star games, giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills for NFL teams as they seek to take their games to the next level.

Wide receiver Devon Wylie will be playing in the 87th annual East-West Shrine Game at 1 p.m. PT on Jan. 21 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Defensive tackle Logan Harrell is set to play in the 2012 AstroTurf NFLPA Collegiate Bowl from the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., on Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. PT.

Then three Bulldogs - offensive linemen Bryce Harris and Leslie Cooper along with kicker Kevin Goessling - will be playing in the Casino Del Sol All-Star game on Jan. 16 at 5 p.m. PT from Kino Stadium in Tucson, Ariz.

Wylie, who earned third-team All-America honors from Yahoo! Sports as a punt returner, led the Bulldogs with 56 receptions for 716 yards and one touchdown in 2011. He also finished fifth nationally by averaging 15.38 yards per punt return with two touchdowns.

Wylie will be on the West squad that is being coached by former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress. The game is being televised live by the NFL Network (Comcast Ch. 417, Dish Network 154, DirectTV 212).

Harrell was a first-team All-WAC selection after finishing his senior season ranked 24th nationally and second in the WAC with 17.0 tackles for a loss. The coaches for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl are Dick Vermeil and Tom Flores and the game is being televised on the NBC Sports Network (Comcast Ch. 38, DirectTV 603).

Harris was the anchor on the Bulldog offensive line, starting 39 consecutive games at left tackle to close out his career. He was a first-team All-WAC selection by the league coaches this past season while Cooper, who started 11 games as a senior, was selected to Phil Steele's All-WAC second team. Goessling rounded out his career as Fresno State's all-time leading scorer and he collected first-team All-WAC honors for the third-straight season, becoming the first Bulldogs since Alan Harper (1999-01) to do so.
