'Dogs Set For MW Indoor Championships

By: Matt Burkholder FRENSO, Calif. - Fresno State is set for its inaugural Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships beginning Thursday, Feb. 21 to Saturday, Feb. 23 at Jacksons Indoor Track at the Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho, with Boise State University serving as the event host. The 'Dogs look to carry forward their recent success into the championships this weekend with most recently the Run for the Dream last Sunday where school and personal records were broken. Je'Nia Sears set a school record in the long jump with a distance of 20'-10.75" at last week's meet. The jump registered as both the top mark in the MW and ranks as the 5th-best jump in the nation this season. Meagan McKee set a personal record in the weight throw with a distance of 63'-7.50" and a season-best in the shot put throw of 50'-8.25", both at the Run for the Dream.
