FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State football team is hosting its 2014 Real California Milk Spring Showcase on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Bulldog Stadium.
The event marks the end of spring football and offers Bulldog fans a first glimpse at the 2014 team that is looking to defend its back-to-back Mountain West championships. The Spring Showcase is free and open to the public and gates will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Fans are asked to enter through the south entrance of Bulldog Stadium.
Parking is available in the Fresno Lexus Blue Lot and the Red lot surrounding Bulldog Stadium, with lots opening at 8 a.m.
From 9-9:30 a.m., there will be an autograph session with team members and stations will be set up on the field for kids to do fun football drills with the players.
Located at the top of the ramp on the south side of Bulldog Stadium, there will also be two jump houses set up for kids to play in, a Real California Milk booth giving away free milk and 940 AM ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes - Fresno State's flagship radio stations - will be broadcasting live throughout the day.
The Bulldog Shop will be hosting a sale at the stadium with marked down t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats plus other gear. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to noon.
Pardini's, Fresno State's new concessionaire, will have one stand open on the south side of Bulldog Stadium.
All events lead up to the Spring Showcase, which is Fresno State's 15th and final practice of spring ball. It is set to run from 10 a.m. to noon.
The format of the Spring Showcase is not a complete game, but there will be live team scrimmages, 7-on-7 drills, special teams work plus individual drills run throughout the session, providing fans a first-hand look at how the Bulldogs prepare for games.
