COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West released Friday 21 additional games out of its 2013 national football television package with the CBS Sports Network and the Nov. 29 Fresno State game at San Jose State was included in the lineup.
Kickoff for the post-Thanksgiving Bulldog-Spartan game on the CBS Sports Network has been set for 12:30 p.m. That will be the 77th meeting between SJSU and Fresno State with the 'Dogs leading the all-time series 39-34-3.
To date, the Mountain West has announced 28 of its 44 football games between the networks comprised in its national football television package. Additional games on the CBS Sports Network and the ESPN networks will be announced at a later date, along with information regarding the second- and third-tier telecast plans.
It was announced on Tuesday that ESPN would televise Fresno State's Sept. 20 home game against Boise State at 6 p.m.
CBS Sports Network is the Mountain West's primary rights holder and Friday's announcement previews the eighth season of MW football on the network. CBS Sports Network is joined this season by ESPN as the second national television partner under a new agreement reached last month. Between the networks, 44 football games will be televised this year on their various platforms. Earlier this week, the initial slate of ESPN telecasts was released.
