Tickets for 2008 Bulldog Road Games on Sale Tuesday

FRESNO, Calif. - The 2008 Fresno State football season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent history. The Bulldogs continue to garner a lot of national media attention this spring and add to than an exciting schedule that features non-conference games against Wisconsin, UCLA and Rutgers, college football experts have high expectations for the upcoming Fresno State season. Fans wanting to join that excitement can still order their 2008 season tickets or purchase a tailored mini-plan. 2007 season ticket holder have until the end of the day Monday to renew their season tickets or possibly lose their seats for the 2008 season. Beginning Tuesday, May 6, fans can purchase tickets for any of Fresno State's road games. The Dogs open the 2008 season at Big East powerhouse Rutgers on Labor Day (Sept. 1). Tickets for the Rutgers game are $40 each. Fans can also get their tickets for the Sept. 27 game vs. UCLA at the Rose Bowl for $35 each. The Fresno State Alumni Associations is planning a pre-game tailgate party and the Bulldog Shop will be selling merchandise at the event. Tickets for Fresno State's game at Boise State, the season finale at Bronco Stadium scheduled for Nov. 28, are available for $46. According to Russell Hayden, Fresno State's Director of Ticket Operations, season ticket renewals for the 2008 season continue to be strong and he expects a lot of activity for the road game ticket sales on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are projected to be ranked in the top 25 in virtually every poll prior to the 2008 season. Fresno State is coming off a 9-4 campaign and a win over Georgia Tech in the Roady's Humanitarian Bowl. The Bulldogs are in the preseason Top 25 rankings for ESPN.com, CBSSportsline.com, Athlon's College Football Annual and Lindy's College Football Magazine. Join the State - Fresno State!
