ESPN Picks Up Three More Bulldog Football Games

FRESNO, Calif. - The Mountain West released the remaining 15 football games set for coverage on ESPN networks Thursday and three Fresno State contests were included in the announced slate of games.
Fresno State's Oct. 26 game at San Diego State, the Nov. 2 home contest against Nevada and the Nov. 23 home game against New Mexico were the three Bulldog contests picked up by ESPN.
This gives Fresno State five national TV games this coming season and four of those will air on one of the ESPN networks.
While additional details on some early-season games may be announced in the coming weeks, kick times and specific networks for most of the remaining ESPN contests will be determined during the course of the season (generally a 12-day window).
Thursday's announcement is another under a new agreement with ESPN as the second Mountain West national television rights holder for Conference-controlled football games. In total, 22 MW football games will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3 this coming season.
Through the Mountain West national TV package, which in comprised of a total of 44 national broadcasts (22 through ESPN and 22 through CBS Sports Network), the conference has announced 43 of the 44 games in its national TV package. There is one CBSSN national game yet to be announced and that will be released in the near future.
