Four Bulldogs - quarterback Derek Carr, running back Robbie Rouse, linebacker Travis Brown and cornerback L.J. Jones - were all selected to Steele's preseason first-team.

Offensive tackle Austin Wentworth, safety Phillip Thomas and kick returner Isaiah Burse all graced the second-team while wide receiver Josh Harper and linebacker Tristan Okpalaugo were tabbed to the third-team.

Five more Bulldogs earned fourth-team honors in wide receiver Rashad Evans, offensive tackle Cody Wichmann, defensive end Matt Akers, linebacker Jeremiah Toma and punter Andrew Shapiro.
