After their 2008 season, the Bulldogs emerged as a team ready and waiting to take on the next great challenge.

Fresno State returns with 17 starters for the 2009 season against UC Davis on Sept. 5 at Bulldog Stadium.

"It's great when the national magazines honor our players in such a way. I expect this group to be making big plays for us and leading our team into the 2009 season. We have over 80 players on campus this summer, working out and getting themselves ready. That's a great commitment. We are excited for the season," said head coach Pat Hill.
