FRESNO, Calif. - Are you ready for some football?

Bulldog fans that have not purchase their 2008 football season tickets can take advantage of a big day of Bulldog football on Thursday, July 24, when KMJ Radio hosts a Bulldog Football "Ticket-a-thon".

All day long, KMJ will be promoting Bulldog season ticket sales with the goal to sell 580 season tickets. KMJ can be found on the AM dial at 580.

"We are pleased with our partnership with KMJ and look forward to an entire day devoted to selling Bulldog football," said head coach Pat Hill. "This is going to be an exciting season and the Wisconsin game on Sept. 13 isn't that far off. Getting a season ticket or mini-plan are the most economical ways to see Bulldog football games. It means a lot to or players to come down the ramp and Bulldog Stadium to packed house."

During the Bulldog Ticket-a-thon, Hill, assistant coaches and Bulldog players will be on the radio talking about the exciting 2008 season, which features five home games. At times during the day, there will be attractive incentives for fans who make purchases.

Fresno State is ranked in most preseason Top 25 polls and the home opener against Wisconsin will mark the first time in Bulldog history a Big 10 team will play at Bulldog Stadium.

Fans can order season tickets on-line by clicking the tickets icon at the top of this page or via phone (559) 278-DOGS.

Hill, quarterback Tom Brandstater, and tight end Bear Pascoe head to Salt Lake City Tuesday for the 2008 WAC Football Media Preview.

Each of the WAC head coaches and two players from each team will meet with approximately 70 media members from around the country during the three-day event at the Hilton Salt Lake Airport.

Each coach will hold a media conference, and the players will meet with the media.

This year, five bowls are sending representatives, including the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Rose Bowl, Fed EX Orange Bowl, Roady's Humanitarian Bowl and the New Mexico Bowl.

In addition to media conferences and interviews, the players and coaches will mingle with the media members during a round of golf at a Salt Lake City area course.
