FRESNO, Calif. - For the first time in Fresno State history, the Bulldog football team will sport an all-black uniform which was a part of the anticipated release of the various uniform combinations the Bulldogs will wear this coming 2013 season.
The all-black Nike uniforms, the feature combination of the fresh new roll-out, will be on display on Nov. 2 at Bulldog Stadium and can be seen here in this preview video:
The all-black uniforms include a newly designed all-black matte helmet with the players' number on one side and the Bulldog face on the other. The eyes and tongue of the Bulldog face match the red in the lettering and numbers on the uniform.
Following the Nevada game, the all-black uniforms and helmets that are worn in the game will be put up for sale. More detailed information on the actual sale of helmets and uniforms will be distributed at a later date.
In addition to the all-black attire, Fresno State will also don an all-white uniform in the season-opener against Rutgers on Aug. 29. What's new about the all-white combination is a complete white helmet that will be used in the future as a part of the main combination of uniforms.
