FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Quarterback Club of the Bulldog Foundation announced Monday special opportunities for members to get an up-and-close look at the Bulldog football team before the season kicks off on Aug. 29.
On Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 12-1 p.m., the Quarterback Club is hosting a 2013 Kick-Off Luncheon with head coach Tim DeRuyter. It will be held at Campagnia Restaurant on 1185 E. Champlain Drive in Fresno and is open to club members. Space is limited and registration is necessary, as there are only 10 spots remaining. Click here for more information on the event and how to register.
Then with the start of practices this week, quarterback club members will be allowed to attend four practices during the first week of fall camp. Club members must check in with a member of the Bulldog Foundation, who will be at the entrances to the practice fields. Photos cannot be taken, no cell phones will be allowed and detailed reports (specifically reporting injuries) are not allowed to be posted on the internet by members attending practice. If this happens, the practices will be closed.
The four practices open to Quarterback Club members are:
Saturday, Aug. 3 - 8:30-11 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 5 - 8:30-11 a.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 7 - 4-5:30 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 9 - 4-5:30 p.m.
There will also be one practice during fall camp that is open to the entire public. That date is on Friday, Aug. 16 and the practice will be in Bulldog Stadium from 7-9 p.m.
