FRESNO, Calif. - Bulldog fans will not get a better deal on football tickets than on August 24.

The Fresno State Athletics Department, in conjunction with local Bulldog corporate partners, will host the "KMJ Lexus Blue Lot Kickoff Special" on Friday evening, August 24, from 5-8 p.m. The sale will be held in the Lexus Lot at the South entrance of Bulldog Stadium. Free parking is available off Bulldog Lane.

During the duration of the sale, Bulldog fans will be able to get tickets for the season opening game against Sacramento State for just $10 each. Tickets will be available in the public seating area of Bulldog Stadium.

In addition, the first 200 fans to purchase tickets to that game will receive one additional ticket courtesy of KMJ and Fresno Lexus.

During the event, the Bulldog Shop will have merchandise available for sale, the Fresno State band and cheer squad will perform and there will be an appearance by Victor E. Bulldog. Some lucky fans who purchase tickets will also receive a free Bulldog "NOW" T-shirt.

KMJ 580 AM is the radio flagship for Fresno State and will broadcast the Inga Barks Show live from the sale. Lexus is the new sponsor of the Lexus Lot, formerly called the Blue Lot.

"This is as good a deal on tickets as we've had since I've been here," said head coach Pat Hill. "I'm thankful to KMJ and Fresno Lexus for helping us with this promotion. I'm really looking forward to the start of the season. The guys have been working really hard and we are going to have a good football team. We are really excited for that first game and the start of college football all across America."
