FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Bulldogs will be running out on to the field to the tune of a custom-made song this season, as the band Whisky Row in collaboration with Fresno State Athletics re-mastered their song "West Side Ride" into a Bulldog and Valley theme.
Whisky Row's new edition is titled "Bulldog Football Time" and is sung by Valley natives Jason Ruffoni and Mike Pereira.
"This is definitely the best football song in America and we couldn't be more proud of where it's at, and that's here in the Valley with the Fresno State Bulldogs," Jason Ruffoni said. "We are Fresno State football fans, we are from the Valley... we had a lot of fun and we're excited about it."
The song is set to debut at Saturday's season-opening game against Weber State in Bulldog Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
"The guys in Whisky Row, Jason and Mike, are the best guys to work with," Senior Associate AD for External Relations Paul Ladwig said. "We have this new song, we have this new video and it will debut Saturday in Bulldog Stadium."
