FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldog Sports Network announced Sunday that it has picked up Fresno State's Oct. 5 game at Idaho and will televise it locally in Fresno on KSEE 24. The game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. PT.
"Bringing this broadcast back to the Valley happened very quickly and it only happened because all of the partners worked unselfishly, keeping the best interests of the team, university and community in mind," Fresno State Senior Associate AD Paul Ladwig said. "Providing this platform to keep the nationally-ranked Bulldogs in the media mix was paramount as well."
Fresno State is off to its first 4-0 start since 2001 and the Bulldogs climbed up two spots in both major polls, rising to No. 21 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 23 in the Associated Press Poll.
"We are thrilled to bring Fresno State Bulldogs football to Central Valley viewers again on Oct. 5 when they take on Idaho," Vice President and General Manager Matthew Rosenfeld added. "The feedback we received from airing the Hawai'i game on KSEE24 was very positive with many thanks and compliments being sent to us from viewers. It's rewarding to be able to broadcast the game to Bulldog fans and showcase KSEE24 talent at the same time during pregame and halftime."
Calling the game will be Bob Akamian (play-by-play) and Randy Rosenbloom (analyst).
KSEE 24 is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting.
