FRESNO, Calif. - With six days before Fresno State's 2000 Homecoming game, ticket sales have been steady, according to athletics ticket manager Scott Wetherbee. As of noon today, less than 4,000 tickets remained for Saturday's game against Nevada, the WAC home opener. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.

"We had a great crowd against Cal," said Fresno State head coach Pat Hill. "We need the same type of environment with the same kind of rabid Bulldog fans. Our team really feeds off of that and I want us to be able to experience another sellout. I want the people of the Valley to come out and watch the Bulldogs play."

The Bulldogs beat Cal 17-3 in front of a record crowd of 42,285 in their first home game, Sept. 23.

Fresno State enters the game with a 2-2 overall record, 1-0 in the WAC. The Bulldogs are 15-3 at home under Hill and they have won 11 consecutive home games. In addition, the Bulldogs are going after their 100th victory in Bulldog Stadium.

Tickets are available at the Bulldog Ticket Office, online at www.gobulldogs.com or by calling (559) 278-DOGS.
