Football Tickets Sales for Tulsa Are Strong

FRESNO, Calif. - Just over 2,800 tickets remain for Saturday's Western Athletic Conference game between Fresno State and Tulsa, according to athletics ticket manager Scott Wetherbee.
As of 5 p.m. this afternoon, the athletics ticket office reported that over 38,200 tickets have been sold for Saturday's game. The Bulldogs, who own the nation's third-longest home winning streak of 12 games, are looking for their third consecutive sellout. Only Florida State (33 games) and Oregon (19 games) have longer home winning streaks.
Fresno State is averaging 41,707 fans for its first two home games, above Bulldog Stadium's capacity of 41,031. Fresno State ranks 19th in the NCAA and second on the West Coast in percentage of stadium capacity filled at 101.65 percent.
"We have had a two great crowds," said Fresno State head coach Pat Hill "Our fan support has been outstanding and that's a big reason we have one of the nation's best home records over the last three years."
Fresno State currently ranks above perennial powers Penn State (21st), Notre Dame (23rd), Florida State (27th) and Alabama (29th). Following is a breakdown of where the Bulldogs rate regionally and in the WAC in percent of stadium capacity filled:
