COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State junior quarterback Derek Carr was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week on Monday by the league. This is the second time this season Carr has received the award.

With Fresno State trailing 24-14 at intermission, Carr threw two touchdown passes in the third quarter to give the Bulldogs their first lead of the game.
His first TD of the second half was a 21-yarder to Marcel Jensen that cut UNM's lead to three, 24-21 at 9:46 of the third quarter. Then just over two minutes later, Carr connected with Davante Adams on a third-and-15 for an 89-yard touchdown pass that put the Bulldogs on top for good.
