FRESNO, Calif. --- The buzz surrounding the 16th-ranked Fresno State football team has delivered another sell out as the Bulldogs' nationally-televised BLACKOUT game set for Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. inside Bulldog Stadium is officially SOLD OUT.

This is the first time in Bulldog Stadium history that a sell out of 41,031 has been reached four days prior to gameday.

"The reaction of alumni, Bulldog fans and this entire community for the football team this season has been great," said Paul Ladwig, Fresno State's Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations. "Making this game a sell out so early in the week and our second this season is a testament to the overall excitement across the valley. Saturday night and the BLACKOUT will undoubtedly be a special night in Bulldog Stadium."

With just four days before the highly anticipated BLACKOUT game, a sold out Bulldog Stadium will welcome 41,031 for the second time this season - the other sell out coming back on Sept. 20 when Fresno State defeated Boise State 41-40 in thrilling fashion.

Saturday night's contest between No. 16 Fresno State (7-0, 4-0 Mountain West) and Nevada (3-5, 2-3 MW) will be broadcast live on ESPNU and all fans are asked to wear black. A special line of black Bulldog gear is available at The Bulldog Shop - located at the northwest corner of Cedar and Barstow avenues.

The Bulldogs are one of eight teams in the bowl subdivision that remain unbeaten and Fresno State looks to extend several winning streaks on Saturday. The 'Dogs have won 12-straight regular-season games, 10-straight games at home and nine-straight games in Mountain West play.

The 'Dogs are also looking to start the season 8-0 for the first time 1989.

On Saturday, tailgate lots will open at 3:30 p.m. and the Fresno State's March to Victory will start at 4:30 p.m. at Bulldog Boulevard. Gates to Bulldog Stadium will open at 6 p.m. and the Bulldogs and Wolf Pack will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
