LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Fresno State junior wide receiver Isaiah Burse has been added to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List, the Louisville Sports Commission announced Wednesday.

Burse's versatility is what makes him so valuable to the Fresno State Bulldogs, who host Hawai'i Saturday at Bulldog Stadium as the 'Dogs look to improve to 7-3 overall and 5-1 in the Mountain West.
Burse is averaging 115.3 all-purpose yards per game for the Bulldogs and is tied for fifth in the MW with 44 receptions and 517 yards receiving. He has four touchdown receptions and scored one rushing touchdown this year.
In addition to his numbers at wide receiver, where he has a 100-yard receiving game this season, Burse has also returned 18 kickoffs for an average of 22.6 yards and eight punts for an average of 10.2 yards.
The selection committee, comprised of 16 national sports journalists and former college and NFL players, will narrow the field to a small group of finalists in early December. The winner will be selected in early January from among the finalists following the bowl season.
