Senior Tackle Slated for Friday Night

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State football team's annual Senior Tackle will take place Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Bulldog Stadium. Members of the general public and the media are invited to attend.

Senior tackle is a football ritual practiced around the nation at many colleges. It began at Fresno State when head coach Pat Hill took over prior to the 1997 season. The event will consist of each senior speaking to the team for a few moments prior to running down a human tunnel formed by his teammates and hitting a tackling dummy for the final time.

Admission for the event is free.
