FRESNO, Calif. - The 22nd-ranked Fresno State football team is hosting Utah State in the first-ever Mountain West Championship game at Bulldog Stadium on Dec. 7, the Conference office announced Sunday.
Tickets will go on sale starting Sunday night at 6 p.m. at GoBulldogs.com and then beginning on Monday they can be purchased over the phone at 559-278-DOGS (3647), online or in person at the Fresno State ticket office located at Bulldog Stadium. The ticket office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Prices for the game are as follows:
Red Seats - $60
Premium Bench Seats - $50
BDF Bench Seats - $40
Public Bench Seats - $30
End zone Bench Seats - $25
Groups of 25 or more may also purchase group tickets at a discounted rate by calling 559-278-DOGS.
Fresno State, winners of the West Division with a 7-1 league record, sits at 10-1 overall and is one of just 12 teams in the FBS with one or zero losses. The Bulldogs will be going for their second-straight MW Championship after sharing the league title last season.
Utah State captured the Mountain Division title on Saturday after its 35-7 win over Wyoming. True freshman quarterback Darell Garretson has led Utah State to five-straight wins since taking over the starting role for injured quarterback Chuckie Keeton. Garretson is the first freshman quarterback in USU history to win his first five starts. The Aggies are 8-4 overall on the season and went 7-1 in league play.
Fresno State and Utah State did not play during the 2013 regular season. The Bulldogs lead the all-time series with the Aggies 16-10-1. Fresno State has won five in a row versus Utah State, including a 31-21 victory on Oct. 15, 2011 in Fresno.
The inaugural MW Championship game is set to kick off at 7 p.m. PT and it is being televised nationally on CBS.
