FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State senior Devon Wylie was named to the 2011 Yahoo! Sports All-America third team as a punt returner.

Wylie, a 5-9, 185-pound wide receiver out of Roseville, Calif., was fourth in the nation with his 15.4 average on 29 punt returns.

The fifth-year senior returned two punts for touchdowns, the first being a 67 yarder at No. 10 Nebraska and the second a 79-yard return vs. No. 5 Boise State.

Wylie had six-straight games from Sept. 10-Oct. 15 where he returned a punt 30 yards or longer. He finished the season with 446 yards off the 29 returns.

In addition, he also led the team in receptions with 56. Wylie gathered 716 yards receiving, including a pair of 100-yard receiving games, and caught one touchdown on the year.

His 13 receptions against Louisiana Tech were the most by any player in the WAC in 2011 and the most by a Bulldog since Bernard Berrian also grabbed 13 against No. 20 Boise State on Nov. 16, 2003.
