Fresno State vs. Conference USA Champion
The Fresno State Bulldogs will make their seventh consecutive bowl game appearance this year at the AutoZone Liberty Bowl on December 31, 2005 in Memphis, TN. The Bulldogs' opponent will be the winner of the Conference USA Championship game on December 3.
This year's AutoZone Liberty Bowl Football Classic will offer plenty of "Good Vibrations" and "Fun, Fun, Fun" for everyone as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member The Beach Boys bring a bit of California to Memphis. The Beach Boys will perform at the AutoZone Liberty Bowl President's Gala and headline the halftime show of the 47th AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
Ticket Information
Tickets are available for purchase through the Fresno State Ticket Office and through travel packages offered through Fresno State's official travel provider, FAN-tastic Sports. All Bulldog Fans attending the game are encouraged to support the University by purchasing tickets through one of these two outlets.

Travel Packages
FAN-tastic Sports will serve as the official travel provider for Fresno State fans to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. Travel packages are being offered that include roundtrip airfare on a chartered plane from Fresno, three nights accommodations at the Doubletree Hotel Memphis, airport and game day transportation, and a hosted bowl party at the hotel.

AutoZone Liberty Bowl Events
The AutoZone Liberty Bowl will offer an array of exciting events for Bulldog fans to participate in, including the Coaches Award Luncheon, Liberty Bowl Parade on world-famous Beale Street, the President’s Gala Dinner/Dance with a liver performance by the Beach Boys, the Time Warner Pre-Game Buffet featuring the “Battle of the Bands” and more. AutoZone Liberty Bowl History
In 2005, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl celebrates 47 outstanding years of post-season college football action. Previous Liberty Bowl participants include Penn State, Alabama, Notre Dame, BYU, Tennessee, and Boise State. Some coaching legends that have been associated with the bowl include Paul "Bear" Bryant, Joe Paterno, Johnny Majors and LaVell Edwards. Four Heisman winners, Doug Flutie, Bo Jackson, Terry Baker, and Ernie Davis have participated in the Liberty Bowl. Each of the last seven AutoZone Liberty Bowls have drawn crowds over 50,000.
