Coach's Comments: Rich won't intimidate you but he'll beat you. Rich was a Ping All-Region player last season. We are fortunate that he decided to come to Fresno State. He is an excellent driver of the golf ball. Some guys drive it straight on the wide open holes but get wild when there is intimidation. Rich hits the fairways even on the scary holes. He still hits the greens when the water looms close. Nothing seems to faze him. That's because he has solid fundamentals combined with an intangible quality that enables him to hit the clutch shot in the toughest of situations. Some people never get that. Rich has it.
