Garces Memorial HS: Lettered four years in golf ... first team all-area three years in a row ... four years all-league ... held lowest scoring average in Kern County junior and senior year ... MVP three years in a row ... scoring average of 72.1 per round as a junior ... scoring average of 70.7 per round as a senior.

Personal: Born Arnold Gunner Kirscheenman on February 7, 1994 in Bakersfield, Calif. ... parents are Tara Ashjain and Arnie Kirscheenman ... two younger sisters, Kennedy and Macy ... He was nominated for national youth leaders conference ... favorite athlete in Lebron James because he is the most fun to watch ... biggest athletic thrill in making a hole-in-one ... he most admires his parents because of their continuous support ... chose Fresno State because of the great coach and golf program.

Coach's Comments: Gunner is another in a line of outstanding golfers from Bakersfield who came up to Fresno State. From All-American Chris Houchin to WAC Player of the year Grant Doverspike, to State Amateur Champions like Bhavik Patel, Bakersfield has produced some of the best golfers in the state. I'm excited about Gunner. He comes here with good skills and is eager to learn. That and a love for practice is always a key to improvement. It helps, too, that he can really putt. He is never out of the hole as good as he is with the short stick. He will be fun to watch.
