2011-12 (Junior): Competed in four tournaments ... averaged 78.92 strokes over 12 rounds ... recorded a low round of 67 at the Fresno State Lexus Classic ... best finish was a tie for 37th at the North Ranch Invitational.
College of the Desert: Played during the 2010-11 season ... coached by Tony Manzoni ... named second-team All-Foothill Conference ... team placed second in state.
Marin Academy: Won BCL Championship his senior year ... named first-team All-BCL all four years ... 3-time team captain.
Personal: Born Oct. 20, 1989 in Miami, Fla. ... parents are Ann and John Partridge ... has three older sisters, Katie, Alison and Amy ... hobbies include mountain biking, fly fishing, scuba diving, video games and hanging out with friends ... made the honor role both semesters at College of the Desert ... favorite athlete is Tim Lincecum because he uses everything he has every time he pitches to blow people away ... biggest athletic thrill was winning the Dana Point Championship in a sudden death playoff ... most admires his dad because he taught him how to pursue passions in life and proved you can be successful if you do that ... chose to attend Fresno State because he likes the team and because Coach Watney is a good coach.
Coach's Comments: He is a huge man who is physically gifted to hit a golf ball with unbelievable grace. When Johnny gets it going, it appears so easy. He shot a 67 in tough, windy conditions last season at the Fresno State Lexus Golf Classic. That shows the kind of potential he has.
