Watney on Ryan: "If there is anything that Matt has shown over the last two years it is the fact that when it comes down to crunch time, he will put up a good score. His final round average borders on All-American greatness. This former golf MVP was an excellent wide receiver in high school. He would be the go-to guy when a play had to be made in the fourth quarter. Matthew still has that give-me-the-ball attitude and now he has teammates around him who also thrive in crunch time. In football, it takes eleven guys playing hard from snap to whistle. In golf terminology, it takes five guys fully concentrated from the first hole. Matt, the only Bulldog senior this year and an All-WAC player from last year, is ready to lead the Bulldogs back into the Top 20 or even better."
