2013-14 (Junior): Competed in the Fresno State Classic ... recorded a 86.67 scoring average over three rounds ... posted a low 83 at the Fresno State Classic (89-88-83--260) ... finished the Fresno State Classic in 90th place ... awarded Leadership Award.

2012-13 (Sophomore): Competed in one tournament ... recorded a 78.00 scoring average ... carded a low round 77 at the Fresno State Lexus Classic (79-78-77-234).

Clovis West HS: Lettered three years in golf ... involved in student leadership and Inter-School Council ... as a senior, named to the All-Valley team ... had a scoring average of 74.2 ... team won the Tri-River Athletic Championship and were runners-up in the Valley Championship ... as a junior, earned All-Valley distinctions ... had a scoring average of 74.6 ... team won both TRAC and Area Championships ... as a sophomore, named Rookie of the Year ... team finished first in the Valley Championships.

Personal: Born in Clovis, Calif. ... parents are Karen and Kevin Sweeney ... has an older brother, Beau ... father was a starting quarterback for the Bulldogs and drafted by the Dallas Cowboys where he played for two years ... brother played football at Cal and Cornell and cousins Nate Fellner and Kyle Negrete played football at Washington and USC, respectively ... grandfather, Jim Sweeney, coached for the Bulldogs from 1976-77 and 1980-1996 and totaled 143 wins, the most in program history ... hobbies include fishing, hunting, skiing, hanging out with friends, going to the lake ... favorite athlete is his father because of his hard work and success off the field ... biggest athletic thrill was winning the Valley Championship in 2009 ... most admires his brother and parents because of their leadership and support ... also recruited by Washington State ... chose to attend Fresno State because of the great golf program and Coach Watney.
