    Day One Results

    COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Following two rounds of play at the UCI Anteater Invitational Neil Bautista took the lead among the Bulldogs to sit in a tie for ninth place out of 41 players.

    On the day the junior made five birdies and fired four-over par, 146 (75-71) to sit eight strokes behind first place.

    Trailing behind Bautista is Troix Tonkham and Nate Jessup. The duo carded six-over par, 148 and share a tie for 17th place.

    The Fresno State Bulldogs concluded day one of the two-day tournament to sit in seventh place at 29-over par, 597 (302-295).

    "We are looking forward to tomorrow and finishing strong," head coach Chad Spencer said.

    Long Beach State leads the tournament at seven-over par, 575 (289-286) and Kevin Lee of Long Beach State sits in first place among the individuals at four-under par, 138 (68-70).
