Junior Brian Sunker (77-69--146, +2) led Fresno State with a 3-under 69 and tied for the third best round of the day. After a first round score of 77, Sunker bounced back with a vengeance, birdieing the final four holes before the turn and capped off the day with a birdie on the par-5 18th.

"Brian shot a great round out of sheer determination," head coach Mike Watney said. "It was not surprising from a player of his caliber."

Junior Bhavik Patel (71-74--145) continues to own the top score for the Dogs at 1-over. Seniors Bryan Hogan (73-73--146) and Michael Gideon (72-74--146), along with Sunker, are just one shot behind Patel at 2-over.
