    FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's golf team finished the first day of competition in 12th place out of 14 teams at The Farms Invitational in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.

    Sophomore Nate Jessup sits in a tie for 26th at 7-over while Jack Mulroy shot a 14-over and is tied for 45th. Macgregor Hoobery finished the day tied for 59th and juniors Johnny Partridge and Rufie Fessler are in 67th and 71st, respectively.

    San Diego State holds a five shot advantage over St. Mary's for first place at 2-over while Anders Engell of St. Mary's sits in the individual lead at 5-under.

    The 'Dogs will conclude The Farms Invitational Tuesday with their tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. PT.
