    FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State is tied for fourth place after shooting a first-round 308 on Sunday at the Drake Diablo Grande Invitational. The Bulldogs' total through 18 holes trails team leader Eastern Illinois (304) by only four strokes.

    Brian Kelley (36-39) is tied for fifth after registering 75, while Jonny Rosa (39-38) and Gunnar Avinelis (40-37) are both tied for 12th with 77s. Matt Shaw (36-43) stands tied for 20th with 79, and Ryan McDonald is in 41st with 40-43 - 83. Playing as an individual, Nick McClintock is tied for 20th with 39-40 - 79.

    Play at the par-72, 6,992-yard Diablo Grande ranch course in Patterson, Calif., continues Monday.
