    PALO ALTO, Calif. - Fresno State is tied for 17th place with 604 after the second round of Stanford's U.S. Intercollegiate at the Stanford Golf Course. UCLA is in first with 559, followed by San Diego State with 569 and California with 575.

    Chad Spencer, currently in 29th after being tied for 39th at the close of the first round, is leading the Bulldogs with 146 (74-72). Dan Buell dropped from 51st to tie for 65th after shooting 75 and 77 his first and second rounds, totaling 152.

    Jeremy Moreno and Ryan Carter are tied for 69th place with 153, both shooting rounds of 76 and 77. Moreno and Carter were tied for 63rd after completing their first round. Ryan McDonald (74-81) dropped from a 39th place tie with Spencer and is now tied with Mark Modglin (78-77) for 79th, with 155. Modglin is competing in the tournament as an individual.

    Play resumes Sunday at 8 a.m.
