    FRESNO, Calif. -- Senior Rufie Fessler continued to lead the Bulldogs throughout round two of the Winchester Classic in Meadow Vista, Calif. on April 20th.

    Fessler shot two-over par, 74 on the day to sit in a tie for ninth place out of 57 players. On the tournament, Fessler sits one-over par, 145 (71-74).

    The Fresno State men's golf team battled round two to finish the day in ninth place out of 11 teams. The Bulldogs sit 25-over par, 601 (302-299) and trail four strokes behind co-host Nevada.

    "We are in a bit of slump right now," head coach Mike Watney said. "It's a good thing we have a little time before the conference championship."

    Johnny Partridge and Troix Tonkham sit six strokes behind Fessler at seven-over par, 151. Partridge (78-73) and Tonkham (75-76) sit in a tie for 30th place.
