    Day One Results

    Tucson, Ariz. -- The Fresno State men's golf teed off day one of the Mountain West Championship to finish in 11th place at 23-over par, 307.

    Leading the 'Dogs is Nate Jessup. Jessup fired three-over par, 74 to finish in a tie for 30th place.

    Keenan Nelson trails Jessup by one stroke. Nelson sits in a tie for 39th place at four-over par, 75.

    "It wasn't the start we envisioned," head coach Chad Spencer said. "We really struggled on the front nine today, but finished better. Hopefully that will carry over for tomorrow."

    The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, April 26 at the Catalina Course at the Omni Tucson National Resort in Tucson, Ariz. at 7 a.m.
