Nelson Moves into the Top-15 at Championship

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Junior Keenan Nelson took the lead among the Bulldogs to finish day two of the Mountain West Championship in a tie for 15th place at three-over par, 145 (75-70).

Nelson made three birdies to decrease his score by five strokes. He sits six strokes back from the tournament leader.

Nate Jessup trails Nelson. Jessup sits in a tie for 36th place at nine-over par, 151 (74-77).

The Fresno State men's golf team concluded the day at 38-over par, 606 (307-299). The Bulldogs improved their score by eight strokes to finish the day in 11th place.

The Bulldogs return to action at Catalina Course at the Omni Tucson National Resort on Sunday, April 27 at 7 a.m. Follow live scoring of the tournament on and check for the recap.
