    Day One Results

    SONOMA, Calif. -- Competing in day one of the Alister MacKenzie Invitational on Monday, Oct. 14, senior Nate Jessup took the lead among the Bulldogs to finish in a tie for fifteenth place at three-under par, 141 (73-68).

    Throughout the day Jessup made nine birdies to move him into the top-20, only three strokes away from the top-ten.

    On the day, the Fresno State men's golf team recorded eight-over par, 584 (294-290) to finish in 12th place out of 16 teams.

    The 54-hole tournament is hosted by No. 4 Cal and held at the Sonoma Golf Club in Sonoma, Calif.

    Cal leads the tournament at 35-under par, 541 (268-273) and Joel Stalter of Cal leads among the individuals at 11-under par, 133 (64-69).

    Round three of the Alister MacKenzie Invitational will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 with tee times off the first and tenth hole.
