    Final Results

    SONOMA, Calif. -- The Fresno State men's golf team concluded the Alister MacKenzie Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 15 to take 14th place.

    The Bulldogs fired 19-over par, 883 (294-290-299) and made a total of 41 birdies.

    Competing among a field of 16-teams, the Bulldogs faced No. 4 Cal, No. 23 Arizona State and Mountain West foes Colorado State, Hawaii, San Diego State, and San Jose State.

    Senior Daniel Russell took the lead among the Bulldogs in day two to move ten positions up on the leaderboard. Russell finished the tournament in a tie for 34th place at one-over par, 217 (73-74-70). On the tournament Russell made seven birdies and one eagle.

    The Cal hosted tournament was held at Sonoma Golf Club in Sonoma, Calif. Cal took the team title at 39-under par, 825 (268-273-284) and Joel Stalter of Cal took the individual crown at 13-under par, 203 (64-69-70).

    The Bulldogs will conclude their fall season on Oct. 31- Nov. 2 at the Pacific Invitational in Stockton, Calif.
