Bautista Leads Bulldogs at Pacific Invite

    STOCKTON, Calif. -- Junior Neil Bautista took his first lead among the Fresno State men's golf team on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the Pacific Invitational in Stockton, Calif. to sit in top-20 of the 59-player field.

    Bautista fired one-over par, 72 to finish in a tie for 18th place.

    On the day, the Bulldogs recorded 17-over par, 301 to finish day one in 11th place.

    "Today wasn't our best, but we have two rounds left and we have a team that can take it low," head coach Chad Spencer said. "I have faith that they will continue to work hard and finish strong."

    The 'Dogs tee off round two of the University of the Pacific hosted tournament on Friday, Nov. 1 at 8 a.m. at the Stockton Country Club.
