Bautista Maintains Lead in Day Two

    STOCKTON, Calif. -- Neil Bautista maintained his lead among the Fresno State men's golf team to hold his tie for 18th place among the 59-player field at the Pacific Invitational on Friday.

    On the day, Bautista fired two strokes less to card one-under par, 70 for a total score of 142 (72-70).

    Troix Tonkham trails Bautista by three strokes. Tonkham moved from his day one tie for 37th place to sit in a tie for 29th place at three-over par, 145 (74-71).

    The Bulldogs overcame their day one challenge to record 12 strokes less in their day two performance. The 'Dogs carded 289 on the day for a total score of 22-over par, 590 (301-289).

    The 'Dogs will conclude their fall season on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8 a.m. as they tee off the third and final round of the Pacific Invitational in Stockton.
