FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State gets back on the course on Monday at the prestigious Ping Arizona Intercollegiate at the Arizona National Club in Tucson, Ariz.

The field is terrific, including defending NCAA champion Texas A&M and three other teams currently in the Top 15: No. 2 Florida, No. 6 Arizona and No. 15 UNLV.

Head coach Mike Watney is eager to take his team to Arizona, calling this the best team he's ever taken to this tournament. That's high praise because the Bulldogs won this event in 2002, shooting 4-under par as a team. Former Bulldog and PGA star Nick Watney finished second and Chad Spencer placed seventh in the 20-team field that year.

Fall Recap

It's was a complete team effort with several Dogs posting low scores this season, five different players posting rounds of 68 or better.
