    About Last Week
The Fresno State men's golf team took on a great challenge Tuesday by playing in the featured foursome of the 2010 Ping Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz., and responded very well. The Dogs held off No. 3 Florida, defending NCAA champion Texas A&M, and soundly defeated three other ranked teams, including beating No. 15 UNLV by 10 strokes, for a third-place finish at the Arizona National Club. In the toughest tournament field of the season, and the first event of the spring semester, the Dogs shot a 3-under par final round score of 281 to finish the tournament at -14.
