    FRESNO,Calif.--The men's golf team tees off its second tournament of the spring season on Monday, Feb. 18. The Bulldogs will compete in The Prestige at the PGA West, Norman Course.

    The three-day tournament is held in La Quinta, Calif. and will include three, 18-hole rounds on the par-72, 7,156-yard course.

    "This tournament has the strongest field of almost any tournament in the country," head coach Mike Watney said. "It will be our toughest test before the NCAA Tournament. The key for us is to have more consistency from all 5 players. They have plenty of game and it will show when we put it together."

    The Bulldogs face top 15 ranked schools including, Washington, UCLA, Southern California, TCU and Stanford.

    Included in the lineup are Bulldogs Rufie Fessler, Nate Jessup, Troix Tonkham, Jack Mulroy and Johnny Partridge.
