FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State men's golf team will host 13 teams at the annual Fresno State Classic on March 10-11.
The two-day tournament will be held at the par-71, 6,776-yard San Joaquin Country Club. The teams competing in the Fresno State Classic include BYU, Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, CSU Northridge, Grand Canyon, Loyola Marymount, Nevada, Sacramento State, University of San Francisco, Santa Clara, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UTEP.
"It's our only home event and we are very excited to be playing at San Joaquin Country Club with a great field," head coach Chad Spencer said.
This will be the Bulldog's fourth tournament of the spring season after competing in the UCI Anteater Invitational, Farms Collegiate Invitational and John Burns Intercollegiate.
"It's time for us to play well and compete for the title," Spencer said.
The tournament format is set for two, 18-hole rounds on day one and one, 18-hole round on day two. Competition will begin on day one with a shotgun start followed by tee times on day two, each beginning at 8 a.m.
