Men's Golf Bound for Championship

    FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State men's golf team will conclude the 2013-14 season at the Mountain West Championship on April 25-27 in Tucson, Ariz.

    This will be the Bulldog's second appearance in the Mountain West Championship and first under the direction of head coach Chad Spencer.

    The Bulldog lineup includes Nate Jessup, Keenan Nelson, Troix Tonkham, Michael Pugh, and Neil Bautista.

    "We are ready to go," head coach Chad Spencer said. "The guys have had great preparation heading into the Mountain West Championship. We have proven in our last two events we can get the job done and we definitely have the fire power to do so."

    The tournament will take place on the par-71, 7,144-yard Catalina Course at the Omni Tucson National Resort.

    Eighteen holes will be played each day with tee times beginning at 7 a.m. PT.

    All 11 Mountain West teams will be competing in the tournament including Air Force, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV, Utah State, and Wyoming.
