Bulldogs Enter Final Tourney of Fall Season

    FRESNO, Calif. -- In facing its final tournament of the fall season, the Fresno State men's golf team will compete in the Pacific Invitational hosted by University of the Pacific on Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

    "We are going to a place that should be very familiar to us," head coach Chad Spencer said. "Tree lined tight golf course, which is like many other courses in Fresno."

    The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,511-yard Stockton Country Club.

    The Bulldog lineup includes Troix Tonkham, Nate Jessup, Neil Bautista, Michael Pugh, and Daniel Russell.

    "We are all looking forward to the challenge of a very good field and to finish strong for the fall season," Spencer said.

    The 'Dogs will compete among a field of 11 teams including Mountain West contender Nevada.
