Fresno State men's tennis team defeated Cal Poly 7-0, on Sunday.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -
The No. 34 Fresno State men's tennis team swept No. 53 Cal Poly on Sunday at the Mustang Courts.
The `Dogs (16-3) took the doubles point from the Mustangs (11-7) with wins from the No. 2 and 3 double teams. The Mustangs earned the first doubles match with a win from the No. 1 spot. Cal Poly's 70th-ranked doubles team, Andre Dome and Matt Fawcett bested No.78 Remi Boutillier Francis Alcantara, 8-4.
The Bulldogs returned at No. 2, David Ayoun and Zachary Leslie beat Jordan Bridge and Brian McPhee, 8-6 and then Jean-Charles Diame and Reid DeLaubenfels defeated Jurgen De Jager and Marco Comuzzo, 8-6, at No. 3 doubles.
The Bulldogs continued to gain momentum in singles play with wins at every position. At No. 6 freshman deLaubenfels defeated Comuzzo, 7-6, 6-2. Junior Leslie beat De Jager, 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 5 spot and senior Ayoun clinched the team win with his victory over McPhee, 6-4, 6-7, 12-10, at No. 4 singles.
At the No. 1 spot, 25th-ranked singles player Boutillier defeated No.29 Dome, 6-2, 7-6. No. 51 Alcantara beat Fawcett, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 2 and Diame finished the match at No. 3 singles with a, 7-6, 6-1, victory over Bridge.
The Bulldogs return home on Tuesday to face No. 55 UCSB at 3:30 p.m. at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.
