    DAVIS, Calif. --- The Fresno State men's tennis team completed play in the Aggie Invitational on Saturday in Davis, Calif.

    In singles action, Jeremy Quiroz defeated David Hutton in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. Reid DeLaubenfels picked up a win when Nevada's Nicholas Sexton retired due to injury as deLaubenfels was leading 6-0, 3-0. Bulldog Sam McNeil fell 6-4, 6-3 to Davidson's Brett Bacharach.

    In the flight A doubles quarterfinals, deLaubenfels and McNeil dropped a close set 8-6 to Cal's Andrew Scholnick and Gregory Bayane.

    The doubles duo of Quiroz and Sai Kartik Nakireddi recorded two victories in the flight B consolations. The first win came over Nevada's Philip Hinojosa and Ryan Andrada 8-6 and then the pair topped Saint Mary's Alec Wagner and Seif Elsherbini 8-1.

    The Bulldogs will have a weekend off of competition before playing in the ITA Regional Championship beginning Oct. 19.
