MORAGA, Calif. ---The Fresno State men's tennis team concluded competition in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northwest Men's Regional tournament on Monday at the Moraga Country Club in Moraga, Calif.
After advancing through the tournament on the first three days of play, senior Sam MacNeil fell to Pacific's Sem Verbeek on Monday morning in the singles quarterfinals round (6-4, 6-4) to conclude action for the Bulldogs.
"Overall we had a solid tournament this weekend highlighted by Sam MacNeil's performance," said Fresno State head coach Evan Austin. "He came back this fall a much harder worker and more disciplined on the court. It is great to see the hard work paying off for him with an 11-2 record through three tournaments."
Fresno State has one weekend off before heading to the Pacific Fall Invite in Stockton, Calif., on Nov. 1-3 for its last tournament of the fall season.
